STEP 02

Learn about the types of licenses and the knowledge you need through departmental seminars!

Learn about the types of diving licenses (C cards), the rules, underwater safety precautions, and the roles of sea knowledge and equipment. At Aquamarine Kanazawa, we will teach you the necessary knowledge to obtain a diving license while having fun!

STEP 03

First experience on an aquamarine-only beach! Learn the basics!

We will actually put on diving equipment for sea use and practice breathing and ear-piercing techniques while getting used to the water in shallow waters where you can put your feet down. We will provide one-on-one instruction, so please rest assured even if you are not comfortable swimming or with water!

STEP 04

Make your diving debut with this fun marine practice!

It's time to explore the ocean world! You'll put into practice the skills you learned in the confined waters. Get surrounded by fish and enjoy real diving.

Take the written test and get your diving license!

After completing the diving school on the sea, you can use the knowledge you’ve learned to take the written test. If you pass the exam, you’ll be certified with a diving license (C card)! This is the beginning of a fun diving life!

Frequently asked questions

Is it okay to participate as a solo player?
Yes, absolutely no problem! Approximately 85% of the students who enroll at our school participate entirely on their own. Through the training sessions, the number of friends with common hobbies in the sea naturally increases. Additionally, experienced female instructors are always on hand at the venue, so you can feel confident in participating with just one female student.
I can't swim, but is it okay?
It's okay! Diving is not like swimming where you have to compete in breathing techniques or speed. In the water, you can breathe normally just like on land using equipment (regulators). And by wearing fins, you can swim easily with just a little effort. So please rest assured that we will start with a slow practice with a professional instructor in a one-on-one setting in shallow waters first.
I am concerned about my age. How long can I enjoy it?
There is no age limit for diving! Anyone in good health, from teenagers to seniors, can enjoy it to their heart’s content. At Aquamarine Kanazawa, we strictly adhere to a meticulous “small-group, one-on-one instruction” that is fully tailored to each individual’s physical condition and pace, so you can easily step up your pace at your own pace.
Can I take the training without buying the equipment?
No, that’s not the case! The heavy equipment (regulators, BCs, etc.) and suits required for the license acquisition course are all available for rental. You can start with a casual approach and feel free to try it out first. If you really want to continue diving, you can simply purchase them at your own pace.
What is the atmosphere at the school?
It’s a homey atmosphere where everyone is always smiling! People of all ages, from their 20s to their 60s, are starting to take up adult classes and new hobbies. Because there’s a common excitement about “the sea,” the distance between staff and customers is also close, creating an environment where you can ask questions and consult with ease. We strive to create a friendly environment where everyone feels comfortable coming to class.
